Mr. Terry Wilson

Ruling Elder

Terry has been a ruling elder since 1986.

Raised in College Park, Georgia in a Christian home, Terry attended Colonial Hills Baptist Church, East Point, Georgia where he professed faith in Jesus Christ at the age of 7.

He attended Wheaton College and graduated from Georgia Tech in 1974. He embraced reformed theology after graduating from college as a result of the teaching ministry of R. C. Sproul and writing ministry of A. W. Pink. Terry has lived in Newnan, Georgia since 1976 and was ordained as a ruling elder in 1986. He joined Covenant Presbyterian Church in October 2001 and was installed as a ruling elder at Covenant in 2004.

Terry has been married to Sheryl White Wilson for 34 years and they have two children; Jill, who is married and living in Pennsylvania and Jeremy, who teaches Middle School Bible at Harvester Christian School in Douglasville, Georgia. Terry enjoys reading about and visiting sites associated with the Civil War.
