Statement of Purpose and Mission

What is the chief end of man? Man's chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy Him forever. (The Westminster Shorter Catechism, Question 1)

We subscribe to the Westminster Standards as the best confessional expression of the Christian faith. Read the Standards here.

Covenant Presbyterian Church prays and works to advance the Kingdom of God in Georgia and for the world-wide propagation of the Gospel: the forgiveness of sins through repentance toward God and faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ.

We seek by God’s grace to observe and maintain holy worship in Spirit and in truth, powerful preaching of God’s Word, fervent prayer, loving fellowship, biblical baptism, regular Communion, extensive evangelism, and Christ’s command to love God wholly and our neighbors as ourselves.

We define success ultimately as faithfulness to God in whatever His providence ordains; nonetheless, we attempt ministries of sufficient endeavor that faith in God is our only hope for meeting such goals.
